The process has the beneficial effects that the filter cakes produced by sandstone production and sewage treatment are utilized, solid waste discharge is facilitated, and the resource utilization efficiency is improved; shale and other raw materials needing to be mined in traditional brick making are notused, and resources are saved; additives are added during forming, and the compressive strength after curing forming is improved by 7% or above compared with the compressive strength without additionof the additives; the sintered heat preservation building blocks prepared by the invention have a heat preservation function, and the heat conductivity coefficient is less than 0.4 W/m.K; the sinteredheat preservation building blocks prepared by the method are small in apparent density which is less than 900kg/m < 3 >, and the dead weight is saved by more than 50% compared with that of the traditional bricks.
