Swimming pool monitoring system and method based on binocular vision
The invention provides a swimming pool monitoring system based on binocular vision. The swimming pool monitoring system comprises a binocular camera, an image processing unit, a central processing unit, an alarm device, a connecting line and a power supply. A swimming pool monitoring method based on binocular vision comprises the steps that the binocular camera shoots images of a monitored area toobtain left and right images of the monitored area; the image processing unit extracts swimmer images in the left and right images by using a stereo cognition method and performs stereo matching on the left and right images according to a binocular stereo imaging principle to obtain a swimmer three-dimensional coordinate space; the image processing unit tracks a swimmer track in the determined three-dimensional coordinate space and monitors the position of a swimmer; the central processing unit infers whether the swimmer is drowned or not according to the motion track of the swimmer; if the central processing unit infers that the swimmer is drowned, a drowning alarm is given, and data is sent to the alarm device; and the alarm device displays position information of a drowner and gives out an alarm sound. The swimming pool monitoring system is simple, low in cost and easy to install and maintain; the precision of determining the position of the drowner by using the binocular vision and stereo cognition method is high; and the multi-dimensional alarm device provides convenience for drowning rescue quickly and visually.
