The lifting type building comprises a roof panel, a terrace and walls surrounding around the terrace, the terrace is fixedly connected with a plurality of rows of fixing columns, the fixing columns are fixedly connected with a plurality of steel beams, the two ends of each steel beam are each provided with a sliding assembly, each sliding assembly comprises a thick beam and a thin beam, and each thin beam is provided with a locking device. Each locking device comprises a transverse cavity, a fixing block and positioning blocks, a plurality of first springs are arranged between the positioning blocks and the corresponding fixing blocks, a square hole is formed in each thick beam, a strip-shaped hole is formed ineach wall, a transverse hole is formed at the position, close to the strip-shaped hole, in each wall, and the thin beams are fixedly connected with push rods. Through the arrangement of the sliding assemblies and the locking devices, the positioning blocks penetrate through the square holes and fill the transverse holes to be fixed and locked, the steel beams and the walls are fixed, an operatoronly needs to push the push rods and push the thin beams to the end close to the walls, the steel beams and the walls can be fixed, installation and fixation are easy and convenient, and the time andenergy of operators are saved.
