The invention discloses a carbon dioxide purification and capture system suitable for a cement kiln. The system comprises a pre-heater, a cylindrical shaft kiln and a carbon trapping device, wherein the cylindrical shaft kiln comprises a material channel and a flue gas channel, a combustor is arranged in the flue gas channel, and combusts in the flue gas channel to generate high temperature, the high temperature is transferred to the material channel, one part of the raw material in the pre-heater enters the material channel to be heated and decomposed into CO2, and CO2 gas is led to the carbon trapping device to be captured. The invention further discloses a carbon dioxide purification and capture method suitable for a cement kiln. According to the invention, by using the system, high-temperature gas in the flue gas channel of a cylindrical shaft kiln transfers heat into a material channel, materials in the material channel are heated to be decomposed into CO2, and the CO2 gas is ledto a carbon capture device to be captured.
