The invention relates to the technical field of composite boards, in particular to an A-grade flame-retardant polystyrene thermal insulation template, and the template comprises polystyrene boards andpouring slurry between the polystyrene boards, wherein the pouring slurry comprises 100 parts by weight of water, 5-20 parts by weight of a binder, 20-50 parts by weight of a hydroxide flame retardant, 5-20 parts by weight of a silicate charring agent and 0.5-5 part by weight of a foaming agent. The invention further discloses a preparation method of the A-grade flame-retardant polystyrene thermal insulation template, and the preparation method comprises preparation of pouring slurry and bonding and pressing of the boards, wherein the binder comprises the following components: 5-15 parts of an aerogel matrix, 0-10 parts of an aerogel cross-linking agent, 10-50 parts of nano clay, 15-30 parts of aluminum dihydrogen phosphate and 15-30 parts of silica sol. The water, the binder, the flame retardant, the charring agent and the foaming agent are adopted to form the pouring slurry, the pouring slurry is used for bonding all layers of plates, the efficient flame retardant effect can be achieved, and the safety is improved.
