The invention discloses a semi-submersible unpowered channel silt flushing ship and a channel desilting method. A water passing channel is formed in the bottom of the middle of a cavity ship box, thecaliber of the water passing channel is gradually decreased from a water passing channel inlet to a water passing channel outlet, and a nozzle is movably connected to the exterior of the water passingchannel outlet; and water filling valves are arranged at the bottoms of two sides of the cavity ship box, a water pumping device is arranged at the top of the cavity ship box, the water inlet end ofa water suction pipe of the water pumping device is arranged at the bottom of a cavity body of the cavity ship box, and the water outlet end of a water drainage pipe of the water pumping device extends to the outer side of the cavity ship box. When the channel is desilted, the cavity ship box is dragged to the silt accumulation position. Water is injected into the cavity ship box through the waterfilling valves, the water passing channel sinks into the water, a ship body is fixed, and desilting is carried out on water flow accelerated through the channel through the nozzle. Due to the fact that the caliber of the water passing channel is gradually reduced from the inlet to the outlet, accelerated water flow penetrating through the contractible channel of the ship body is used for performing disturbance silt flushing, and then flexible desilting operation of the channel can be achieved by moving the cavity ship box.
