The invention discloses an intelligent safe storage device and method for hazardous waste of a coal-fired power plant. The intelligent safe storage device comprises a storage unit and an intelligent safety management and control unit, the storage unit comprises a gate, a waste oil storage area, other hazardous waste storage areas, a waste denitration catalyst storage area and a waste lead-acid storage battery storage area, and classified storage of the hazardous waste is achieved through a passage, a partition retaining wall and a waste liquid guiding and discharging collection channel; and agas component monitoring device, an infrared thermal inductance monitoring device, an image recognition device and a smoke sensing alarm device in the intelligent safety management and control unit are data information acquisition modules and are used for integration comparative analysis of data information, and a fire-fighting spraying system, a ventilation and gas purification device and a fire-fighting sand fire-extinguishing system are intelligent safety operation modules, so that conventional safety disposal and emergency safety disposal of any area in the storage unit are realized. According to the intelligent safe storage device and method, intelligent inspection and intelligent emergency response of the hazardous waste storage device of the coal-fired power plant are realized, so that the storage safety of the hazardous waste of the coal-fired power plant is guaranteed.
