According to the invention,a modified starch copolymer prepared by acidolysis of a natural polymer material starch and copolymerization modification with a sulfonated grafted monomer sodium methallyl sulfonate is used as a mainmaterial, and the water reducing agent prepared by blending reaction with substances such as a beta-naphthalene sulfonate formaldehyde condensate and the like has excellent dispersity in concrete; agood water reducing effect is achieved, and the concrete setting time can be effectively delayed; through acidolysis modification of the starch, the molecular weight of the starch can be reduced, morehydroxyl groups are exposed, sulfonic acid groups are favorably grafted and introduced, the dispersity and the water reducing property of the material are improved, and the water reducing agent is anovel starch-based water reducing agent which is environment-friendly and does not have a corrosion effect on reinforcing steel bars.
