The invention provides an asphalt mixture compaction process and a pavement construction method, and relates to the technical field of highway construction. The asphalt mixture compaction process comprises the following steps: performing initial compaction on a paved asphalt mixture by using a rubber tire roller; repressing the asphalt mixture by using a rubber tire road roller or a double-steel-wheel road roller; and performing final pressing on the asphalt mixture by using the double-steel-wheel road roller. By adopting the combination of the grinding modes, in the initial pressing process,fine cracks can be avoided, mucilage formed by asphalt, a mineral powder, fine aggregate and the like in the mixture can float upwards, the upper surface is tighter, and waterproofness is better.
本发明提供了一种沥青混合料压实工艺及路面施工方法,涉及公路施工的技术领域,沥青混合料压实工艺包括以下步骤:利用胶轮压路机对摊铺后的沥青混合料进行初压;利用胶轮压路机或者双钢轮压路机对沥青混合料进行复压;利用双钢轮压路机对沥青混合料进行终压。上述工艺采用的碾压方式的组合,在初压的过程中,即能够避免产生细小裂缝,也会使混合料中沥青、矿粉、细集料等形成的胶浆上浮,使上表面更加紧密,防水性更好。
