The invention discloses a wood plate grabbing device for earth-rock engineering construction and a using method of the wood plate grabbing device. The wood plate grabbing device comprises a first integration plate, first connecting rods are hinged to the top end of the first integration plate, a second connecting rod is rotatably connected to the other end of each first connecting rod, and a second integration plate is hinged to the other ends of the second connecting rods; and motors are installed on the side wall of the first integration plate, a first lead screw is fixedly connected to theoutput end of each motor, the other ends of the first lead screws penetrate through the first integration plate, the extending ends of the first lead screws are meshed with the second integration plate in a sleeving mode, guide rods are fixedly connected to the side wall of the first integration plate in a sleeving mode, and the other ends of the guide rods are slidably connected with the second integration plate in a sleeving mode. The grabbing device is easy and convenient to disassemble and replace, short in time and high in efficiency; and the working efficiency of the device is improved,the labor cost is reduced, grabbing failure caused by multi-layer stacking of wood plates in the grabbing process is avoided, the grabbing device is prevented from being damaged, and the safety coefficient of site constructors is increased.
