The invention discloses a T-shaped connecting structure of a building top plate and a building wall plate and a construction method thereof. The connecting structure comprises a wall plate body and atop plate body, the top plate body is arranged on the upper end face of the wall plate body, two connecting plates are symmetrically and fixedly installed on the lower end face of the top plate body,and two L-shaped clamping grooves are symmetrically formed in the lower end face of the top plate body; a sliding groove is formed in the center of the upper end face of the wall plate body, a plurality of sealing cavities are annularly formed at the upper end of the wall plate body at equal intervals, each sealing cavity communicates with the sliding groove, a limiting mechanism is arranged in the sliding groove, and two L-shaped supporting plates are symmetrically and fixedly installed at the two sides of the upper end of the wall plate body; and compared with a traditional connection mode,the connection mode is simple and convenient, the installation stability is high, and later replacement is facilitated.
