The invention discloses a dry plastering wallboard with a fireproof function and a production process thereof. The dry plastering wallboard comprises a middle core material; the middle core material is prepared from a cementing material, filling aggregate, anti-cracking fibers and a retarder; the first side, used for being attached to a wall body, of the middle core material is fixedly provided with a metal gridding cloth covering face used for reinforcing the structure; the second side of the middle core material is coated with a coating layer; and the structural rigidity is improved througha double-face covering face composed of the coating layer and the metal gridding cloth covering face. According to the dry plastering wallboard and the production process thereof, a prefabricated product can be directly carried to a site to be assembled on the wall after being produced in a factory, and therefore the problems that a construction site is messy and the environment is polluted due toon-site mortar mixing are effectively solved.
