The invention relates to a supporting structure for additionally building underground space under an existing building group. The supporting structure comprises stand columns arranged at intervals andsupporting plates, wherein each supporting plate is arranged between the two corresponding adjacent stand columns. The two opposite ends of each supporting plate are connected to the two corresponding adjacent stand columns in an abutting manner, and the supporting plates are connected with the stand columns through connecting assemblies. Drainage holes are formed in the side walls, close to thestand columns, of the supporting plates in the vertical direction at intervals, collecting holes are formed in the bottoms of the supporting plates, and the drainage holes communicate with the collecting holes. A water collecting tank communicating with the collecting holes is arranged under the supporting plates. The water collecting tank is provided with a prompting assembly used for prompting the water volume condition in the water collecting tank. The supporting structure has the effect of reducing the influence of underground water on underground space construction.
