The invention discloses a sealing structure and a sealing method for a moisture removal clamp caulking of a suspension cable main cable. The sealing structure comprises a main cable, a winding wire, an air clamp, a protective winding belt, a wedge-shaped fixing belt, an appearance starting belt, a first fastening belt and a second fastening belt, wherein the wedge-shaped fixing belt comprises a body, a first groove and a second groove, the distance between the first groove and the air clamp is larger than the distance between the second groove and the air clamp on the section in the axial direction of the main cable, the section of the first groove is in a square groove shape, the cross section of the second groove is trapezoidal, and the second fastening belt is embedded in the second groove. Due to the structural design, the sealing effect of a circular seam part of the air inlet and outlet clamp can be guaranteed when the main cable is subjected to inflation drying protection, leakage of the circular seam part is completely eradicated, therefore the steel wires in the cable strands can be effectively protected, the service life of the steel wires of the main cable of the suspension bridge is prolonged, and the operation cost is reduced. The invention further provides a sealing method of the air clamp caulking.
