The invention relates to the technical field of tunnels, in particular to a construction method of a wall block in an immersed tunnel steel shell. The construction method comprises the following steps: spliced plates are welded to form a middle wall inner panel, and a first longitudinal rib and a partition plate are welded to one side of the middle wall inner panel to form a frame; back firing annealing is conducted on the frame; spliced plates are welded to form a middle wall outer panel, and a second longitudinal rib is welded to one side of the middle wall outer panel to form a plate unit;back firing annealing is conducted on the plate unit; the plate unit is fixedly arranged on a jig frame; the frame is hoisted and fixedly arranged on the plate unit, and the side face, welded to the first longitudinal rib, of the frame faces the side face, welded to the second longitudinal rib, of the plate unit; the frame and the plate unit are welded to form a middle wall block; the middle wallblock arranged on the jig frame is annealed; and the annealed middle wall block is detached from the jig frame, and construction of the middle wall block is completed. According to the construction method, the stress generated by welding can be eliminated in the process of welding and manufacturing the middle wall block.
