The invention relates to a municipal road assembling unit and a construction method thereof. The municipal road assembling unit comprises prefabricated plates and connecting assemblies used for connecting two adjacent prefabricated plates, one side face, in the length direction of the prefabricated plates, of each prefabricated plate is an upper slope, and the other side face of each prefabricatedplate is a lower slope parallel to the upper slope; each connecting assembly comprises a first embedded part, a second embedded part and a connecting screw rod, one ends of the connecting screw rodsare connected with the second embedded parts, the other ends of the connecting screw rods are sleeved with connecting nuts, and the connecting nuts are slidably connected with the first embedded partsin the thickness direction of the prefabricated plates; when the connecting screw rods rotate, the connecting nuts on the connecting screw rods drive the first embedded parts to move in the directionclose to or away from the second embedded parts of the adjacent prefabricated plates; and according to the unit, through the rotation of the connecting screw rods and the matching of the lower slopeson the connecting screw rods and the upper slopes of another prefabricated plate, the prefabricated plates move in the length direction of the road and moves in the height direction, namely the height position is adjusted, so that the pavement flatness is ensured.
