The invention discloses a conversion component for an ultra-large span and a construction method thereof. The conversion component comprises a conversion column (1) vertically constructed on a foundation valve plate (3) and a conversion beam (2) horizontally constructed on the conversion column, wherein a plurality of conversion column steel ribs (11) are arranged in the conversion column, and every two adjacent conversion column steel ribs are connected and fixed through a pulling and tying piece (6) to form a conversion column steel rib structure; the side end of each conversion column steelrib is fixed to a conversion column stirrup (12) through a fixing piece (9); a plurality of conversion beam steel ribs (21) are arranged in the conversion beam, and every two adjacent conversion beamsteel ribs are connected and fixed through a pulling and tying piece to form a conversion beam steel rib structure; and the conversion beam steel ribs are arranged at the upper ends of the conversioncolumn steel ribs, so that the conversion column and the conversion beam are connected to form the conversion component and are integrally poured and formed. The safety of the conversion component for the ultra-large span and the reasonability of reinforcement can be achieved, the difficulty of steel bar binding and concrete pouring is lowered, and the concrete pouring quality is ensured.
