The adjustable overhead building base comprises a bearing mechanism and four supporting mechanisms, wherein the bearing mechanism comprises a bottom plate and a fixing column coaxially fixed at the center position of the top surface of the bottom plate, the outer wall of the fixing column is slidably sleeved with a sliding pipe, and the outer wall of the sliding pipe is coaxially and fixedly connected with a connecting disc. The slidingpipe is lifted by using lifting equipment through hydraulic lifting equipment, then all arc-shaped clamping plates, located below the sliding pipe, in the four supporting mechanisms are pushed into the sliding pipe until the inner walls of the arc-shaped clamping plates are in contact with the inner wall of the fixing column, the arc-shaped clamping plates are used for limiting and supporting thesliding pipe, meanwhile, the fixing column is subjected to auxiliary supporting, so that the strength of the area, not in contact with the sliding pipe, of the fixing column is improved; and meanwhile, the arc-shaped clamping plates which are not located on the sliding pipe are used for clamping and supporting the sliding pipe, so that the supporting strength of the sliding pipe is improved, and the overall safety of the device is improved while the height is adjusted.
