The invention discloses high-strength thermal shock-resistant oxidation-resistant SiC/O'-Sialon composite ceramic and a preparation method thereof. The SiC/O'-Sialon composite ceramic is prepared fromthe following raw materials in percentage by mass: 40 percent of SiC powder, 30 percent of alpha-Si3N4 powder, 10 percent of quartz powder, 5 to 10 percent of alpha-Al2O3 powder, 3 to 5 percent of Y2O3 powder, 2 to 4 percent of Sm2O3 powder and 1 to 10 percent of ZrO2 powder, and an adhesive is added into the raw materials and accounts for 5 to 10 percent of the mass of the raw materials. The prepared ceramic material is excellent in high-temperature resistance and oxidation resistance and good in thermal shock resistance, and the service life of a heat absorption system is effectively prolonged.
