The invention discloses a construction method for reinforcing a steel pipe pile pier through an underwater glass fiber sleeve. The construction method for reinforcing the steel pipe pile pier throughthe underwater glass fiber sleeve comprises the following steps of manufacturing the glass fiber sleeve; coating an antirust agent to the corroded area of a steel pipe pile pier column; welding studs;mounting the glass fiber sleeve; sealing a sleeve opening; pumping self-compacting high-strength cement; and reinforcing the glass fiber sleeve. By adopting the construction method for reinforcing the steel pipe pile pier through the underwater glass fiber sleeve, secondary repair is not needed, so that the later maintenance cost is saved. Generally, the service life of the reinforced structure can be prolonged by at least 50 years.
