The invention discloses a glass fiber sleeve underwater operation reinforcement method in the field of pier column reinforcement. The method comprises the following steps: S1, pier column surface treatment: carrying out surface treatment on different types of pier columns, including removal of microorganisms on the surfaces of the pier columns, removal of loose concrete, treatment of the rusted surface of steel and cleaning of mud at the bottoms of the pier columns; S2, pretreatment of the glass fiber sleeve: injecting plate glue into a lock catch groove of the sleeve, opening the sleeve and wrapping the pier columns, according to different projects, enabling the length of the sleeve to extend 50-60 cm above and below a damaged area respectively, temporarily fixing the sleeve by using a fastening belt, and fastening a lock catch of the sleeve by using a stainless steel self-tapping screw every 15 cm; according to the method, repairing is completed by selecting a high-strength epoxy grouting material and a GRP sleeve, and the method is effective for all types of pier columns; the corrosion resistance is good, and future structural damage is prevented; the investment is only needed for a time, and long-term maintenance is avoided; a cofferdam does not need to be built, the construction difficulty is low, the navigation channel safety risk is reduced, and use by people is facilitated.
