The invention discloses a novel method for polarizing a multilayer piezoelectric ceramic piece, which relates to the technical field of piezoelectric ceramic polarization processes. According to the method, an air polarization mode is adopted, and in a new polarization process, a to-be-polarized ceramic piece is placed on a polarization clamp and then is placed in a drying oven. And when the temperature of the oven reaches a set temperature, an electric field is applied to the piezoelectric ceramic to start polarization. And when the set planning time is reached, heating is stopped, the oven door is opened, the piezoelectric ceramic piece iscontinuously polarized until the temperature is reduced to a certain value, and the electric field is closed to finish polarization. The new polarization process is simple, silicone oil is not needed, the subsequent ceramic piece cleaning process is not needed, and the polarization electric field is far lower than that of a traditional oil bath polarization process. The process flow is greatly simplified, and the process cost is saved.
