The invention discloses an assembly type building hoisting positioning device and a positioning method, and relates to the technical field of buildings. The assembly type building hoisting positioningdevice comprises a guide device and a calibration plate, wherein the guide device comprises a guide frame, a guide plate arranged in the guide frame and guide holes formed in the guide plate, the guide plate is formed by splicing a plurality of plates and then is arranged in the guide frame, and a plurality of through guide holes are formed in the spliced guide plate. The guide frame is providedwith a lock catch, so that the guide plate spliced with the lock catch can be conveniently opened; and the guide plate is formed by splicing a plurality of plates and is limited by the guide frame, sothat the guide plate can be conveniently taken out after the guide frame is opened. According to the hoisting positioning device, the guide holes of the guide device correspond to blind holes in a hoisting prefabricated block in position, meanwhile, the guide holes correspond to first steel bar columns extending out of the end face of a lower prefabricated block in position, and accurate installation and positioning between the hoisting positioning device and the lower prefabricated block are completed through transition of the guide device.
