The invention discloses a positioning device facilitating hoisting of an assembly type component and a hoisting method. The positioning device comprises two sliding rails fixedly connected with a component wall, wherein the two sliding rails are arranged in parallel and are the same in height, the sliding rails are arranged in parallel with the lower end face of the component wall, dials are arranged on the sliding rails, each sliding rail is connected with an infrared alignment instrument in a matched mode, infrared emitters are fixedly arranged at the lower ends of the infrared aligners, and reserved steel bar holes are formed in the lower end of the component wall body; and the positioning device further comprises an infrared receiving plate fixedly connected with a component bottom plate, an infrared receiver is arranged on the infrared receiving plate, the infrared receiving plate is connected with a computer through a signal transmission line, and reserved steel bars matched with the reserved steel bar holes are arranged on the component bottom plate. According to the positioning device, the hoisting construction difficulty can be reduced, meanwhile, the labor cost is reduced, the infrared positioning principle is utilized, the hoisting butt joint accuracy of the assembly type components is improved, and the construction efficiency of assembly type engineering is improved to a certain degree.
