According to the equipment for railway turnout paving and replacing and the operation method of the equipment, the equipment comprises a crawler walking platform (1) and a portal type track panel lifting device (2), the crawler walking platform (1) comprises a lifting platform (1.2), and a lifting device (1.9) and a vertical supporting device (1.5) are connected to the lower portion of the liftingplatform (1.2) and connected with the lifting platform (1.2) and a platform frame (1.1) through knuckle bearings; a bearing platform (1.3) is arranged above the lifting platform (1.2), and two pairsof clamps (1.4) are arranged in the transverse direction of the bearing platform (1.3); and the lifting platform (1.2) is connected with the crawler walking device (1.9) through a lifting device (1.6)and a supporting device (1.7).
