The invention discloses a mounting method for a hanging steel structure, and belongs to the technical field of building construction. The mounting method comprises the following steps: a false columnis arranged; the false column is detachably connected with a hanging column; the false column and the hanging column are hoisted in place; a threaded part and a positioning nut are fixedly mounted onthe ground below the false column, and the gap between the false column and the ground is adjusted by adjusting the position of the positioning nut on the threaded part, so that the hanging column isat the preset height. According to the mounting method for the hanging steel structure, the hanging column is supported and fixed by arranging the false column, the false column is equivalent to a supporting column on the first floor of a building and used for supporting the hanging column above, the certain gap is formed between the false column and the ground, the hanging column can be fixed tothe preset height through adjustment of the threaded part and the positioning nut, and positioning is accurate; and the hanging column is convenient to unload, the overall structure is simple, operation is easy, the construction efficiency is improved, and the false column is convenient to disassemble and can be reutilized.
