The invention provides an automatic irrigation device. The automatic irrigation device comprises a drainage mechanism, wherein the drainage mechanism is arranged below a soil layer of a planting area;and the drainage mechanism is of a double-layer hollow structure and comprises a drainage plate on the upper layer and drainage grooves in the lower layer, and a plurality of drainage holes distributed in an array mode are formed in the drainage plate. According to the automatic irrigation device, the drainage mechanism of the hollow structure is arranged below the soil layer of the planting area, and when the irrigation water amount is too large due to too large rainfall, redundant water can penetrate through the soil layer to be drained through the drainage holes, so that the adverse conditions of root rotting, leaf wilting and the like due to large water amount are avoided, and the growth quality of crops is guaranteed.
