The invention discloses an inorganic water-based permeable sand consolidation agent and a preparation method thereof. The inorganic water-based permeable sand consolidation agent is prepared from, byweight, 40-50 parts of a sodium silicate solution, 2-5 parts of a curing agent, 0.05-0.25 part of a surfactant, 0.8-2 part of a surface hardening agent and 40-50 parts of deionized water. Sodium silicate is used as a main component, a sand layer can be solidified by utilizing a self solidification reaction, and stable silica gel is generated through a synergistic effect formed by compounding witha curing agent so that sodium silicate forms a layer of compact silica gel film on a concrete base surface to achieve the purpose of sand solidification, and meanwhile, a dispersion effect can be achieved, agglomeration of sodium silicate colloidal particles can be effectively hindered, the sodium silicate is kept in a nanoscale size and permeation in concrete is facilitated.
