The invention discloses a prefabricated assembly type FRP pipe-concrete-steel pipe double-wall hollow column which comprises at least two double-wall hollow column sections and a middle section connected with the two adjacent double-wall hollow column sections, and each double-wall hollow column section comprises an FRP section, a steel pipe section and a prefabricated concrete section arranged between the FRP section and the steel pipe section in a filling mode. Connecting parts are arranged at the two ends of each steel pipe section in a protruding mode, and the two steel pipe sections of every two adjacent double-wall hollow column sections are connected through the corresponding connecting parts. Each middle section comprises an FRP middle section body, the two ends of each FRP middlesection body are connected to the outer walls of every two adjacent FRP section bodies in a lap joint mode, and the positions between the FRP middle section bodies and the two connecting parts are filled with cast-in-place concrete layers. The invention further correspondingly provides a construction method. Complex concrete pouring does not need to be conducted on site, only the two sections of prefabricated double-wall hollow columns need to be connected through the middle section, the construction speed is high, on-site construction is convenient, and operation is easy.
