The invention discloses a protective fence for building construction, and relates to the technical field of buildings. The protective fence comprises two supporting mechanisms, a fixing mechanism anda protective mechanism; the two supporting mechanisms are distributed at left and right sides; the fixing mechanism is arranged at the upper ends of the two supporting mechanisms; the protective mechanism is mounted on the fixing mechanism; and the protective mechanism comprises a protective net chain. According to the protective fence for building construction, a safe place can be provided for workers, disturbance caused by the outside is avoided, mounting and dismounting are quite convenient, secondary use can be conducted, the building cost is reduced, and more importantly, once the whole structure is not firm and is scraped down, the protective net chain can automatically fall down, and the the protective net chain is prevented from toppling over to injure passing people.
