The method comprises the following construction steps that a reserved groove is dug in the ground along anexpansion joint; the interior of the expansion joint is treated; a first sealing strip and a second sealing strip are plugged into the expansion joint, the second sealing strip is located on the first sealing strip, and the upper portion of the second sealing strip is lower than an upper opening of the expansion joint; grouting materials are poured between the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip through a grouting device; a first layer of sealant is painted towards the second sealing strip at the opening of the expansion joint until the upper surface of the first layer of sealantis flush with the bottom of the reserved groove; a water stop belt is adhered to the bottom of the reserved groove, and the water stop belt seals the opening of the expansion joint; a repairing material is poured into the reserved groove, and a reserved joint corresponding to the expansion joint is manufactured on the repairing material; and a joint filling assembly is arranged in the reserved joint. The basement expansion joint composite waterproof construction method has the effects of forming good sealing on the expansion joint and improving the waterproof performance.
