The invention discloses a construction method for cutting a pipe ditch in a rock foundation. The construction method comprises the following construction steps of 1, delimiting an excavation center line and an excavation side line of the pipe ditch on rock according to a design drawing, and horizontally mounting and fixing a track on the rock; 2, designing a pipe ditch construction excavation scheme to guarantee that the width of a construction layer located at the deepest position of the pipe ditch is large enough to meet the normal work of a rock cutting device and meet pipeline installationrequirements; 3, operating the rock cutting device, and completing cutting excavation of the pipe ditch according to the pipe ditch construction excavation scheme, wherein the side wall of the excavated pipe ditch is step-shaped; and 4, after cutting excavation of the pipe ditch is completed, guaranteeing that the excavation size of the pipe ditch meets the design requirement. The section of theside wall of the pipe ditch excavated through the construction method is in a step shape, disturbance to an original rock foundation is small, materials used for excavation and later-period backfill are few, and the construction cost is greatly saved; and vibration is small, and noise is restrained.
