The invention relates to a filtering and dust removing device of a sweeper and a dry-type road sweeper. The filtering and dust removing device comprises a box body, a filtering assembly which is arranged on the upper part of the box body; a dust removing assembly which is arranged on the upper part of the box body and used for removing objects attached to the filtering assembly into the box body,wherein the filtering assembly comprises a filtering cylinder and a dust blocking part wrapping the periphery of the filtering cylinder, a plurality of via holes are formed in the periphery of the dust blocking part, the via holes are configured to be capable of blocking objects with the volume larger than a first threshold value, and the dust blocking part is provided with a smooth outer surface;therefore, at least part of objects attached to the outer surface of the dust blocking part can fall into the box body under the action of gravity. Through holes in the dust blocking cover can blockobjects with large sizes on the surface of the dust blocking part. Due to the fact that the outer surface of the dust blocking part is smooth, objects with large mass can fall into the box body belowunder the action of the gravity of the objects. The filtering and dust removing device provided by the invention can guarantee the filtering effect of the filter cylinder and prolong the service lifeof the filter cylinder, so that the maintenance cost is reduced.
