The invention relates to the technical field of mortar preparation, and particularly discloses easy-to-pump mortar and a preparation method thereof. The easy-to-pump mortar is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 350-400 parts of cement, 800-1000 parts of sand, 110-130 parts of water, 50-100 parts of mineral powder, 5-8 parts of additives and 2-6 parts of fibers. The preparation method comprises the following steps: step 1, mixing the cement, the sand, the mineral powder, the additive and the water, and stirring for 30-60 seconds to obtain uniformly stirred premixed mortar; and 2, mixing other raw materials with the premixed mortar, and stirring for 90-120 seconds to obtain the easy-to-pump mortar. The easy-to-pump mortar can be used for pumping construction of super high-rise buildings and has the advantages that the pumping performance is good, and cracks are not prone to being generated on the surface of the hardened mortar.
