The invention belongs to the technical field of nuclear fuel manufacturing, and relates to a grinding slag treatment method. The method sequentially comprises the following steps that: grinding slag is put into a sintering furnace in a reducing atmosphere, and hardened uranium dioxide is formed after the grinding slag is sintered; the sintered grinding slag is oxidized to form powder U3O8; the U3O8 powder is screened through a rotary vibrating screen, and then particle homogenization treatment is conducted through a single-cone spiral mixer to obtain homogenized U3O8 powder; and the homogenized U3O8 powder is added into a UO2 powder raw material to prepare a pellet, the addition amount of the U3O8 powder does not exceed 20%. According to the method, the grinding slag generated in UO2 pellet manufacturing can be converted into the U3O8 powder with excellent physical performance and addition performance, the addition ratio of recycled materials is remarkably increased, and therefore, theefficiency of the treatment process and the utilization rate of the grinding slag are increased. By adopting the method to treat the grinding slag, 100% on-line recycling of the grinding slag can berealized, and meanwhile, the quality of the pellet is not influenced.
