The invention belongs to the technical field of highway engineering, and discloses a transverse water passing roadbed structure which is characterized in that N gravel or gravel cushion layers are arranged between common roadbed layers at intervals below the designed flood level elevation, and a plurality of transverse drainage pipes are arranged in each gravel or gravel cushion layer; the transverse drainage pipes are arranged at intervals in the length direction of the roadbed structure and penetrate through the broken stone or gravel cushion layer in the width direction of the roadbed structure. Anti-permeability concrete slope protection layers are arranged on the outer sides of slopes of the common roadbed layer and the N gravel or gravel cushion layers below the designed flood levelelevation, and the two ends of the transverse drainage pipes penetrate through the anti-permeability concrete slope protection layers in a straight mode. The roadbed achieves the transverse water passing function through drainage of the transverse drainage pipes, the gravel or gravel cushion layers can protect the transverse drainage pipes in the roadbed, and the impermeable concrete slope protection layer protects the roadbed slope from being scoured by flood and prevents the flood from permeating into the roadbed.
