The invention discloses a modular installation and construction method for a four-core elliptical glass decorative column. The method comprises the following steps that fixing points of elliptical glass are determined; the principle that a four-center arc method is used for making an approximate ellipse is utilized, four sections of standard arcs in the elliptical are reversely deduced and found out, four points of an approximate circle node of the ellipse serve as fixing points of decorative column elliptical glass, and formed glass panels are all standard arc sections; a glass skeleton of the elliptical glass decorative column is prepared; according to the divided two specification standard arc sections, framework cross beams are machined and bent, and the cross beams and vertical beamsare matched to form the skeleton of the elliptical glass decorative column; the glass panel is installed; the standard arc section glass panel is connected and fixed on the vertical beams through a spherical hinge clamp; surface treatment is carried out; and after the glass panel is installed, weather-proof glue caulking sealing is carried out in a unified mode, and the surface of the glass is cleaned. The construction difficulty of the elliptical glass decorative column is reduced, the mounting efficiency and the mounting precision of the skeleton are improved, and the technical guarantee canbe reliably provided.
