The invention discloses a C-shaped steel structure applied to roof reinforcement. The C-shaped steel structure at least comprises a first plate body, a second plate body and a third plate body which are connected end to end, the first plate body is arranged at the first end of the third plate body, the second plate body is arranged at the second end of the third plate body, the first plate body and the second plate body are approximately parallel to each other, the third plate body is approximately perpendicular to the first plate body, a plurality of reinforcing ribs extending in the first direction are arranged on the inner wall of the first plate body and the inner wall of the second plate body, and the cross sections of the reinforcing ribs are limited by a first arc line bent in the second direction and a second arc line bent in the third direction. According to the C-shaped steel structure, the first arc line can form a first protrusion facing the second direction; the second arcline can further form a second protrusion facing the third direction on the first protrusion; and compared with common reinforcing ribs, the cross section contour line of the structure is longer, andtherefore the structure has higher bending strength.
