The invention relates to a scaffold structure and an erecting method thereof. The scaffold structure comprises a plurality of vertical pipes, transverse pipes and connecting assemblies between the vertical pipes and the transverse pipes, wherein each connecting assembly comprises a mounting part arranged at one end of the corresponding vertical pipe, and mounting grooves are evenly formed in the mounting parts in the circumferential directions of the mounting parts; matching parts are arranged at the other ends of the vertical pipes, when every two vertical pipes are spliced in the vertical direction, the matching part of one vertical pipe abuts against the mounting part of the other vertical pipe, and matching grooves corresponding to the mounting grooves are formed in the matching parts;and when the matching parts abut against the mounting parts, the mounting grooves and the matching grooves form fixing grooves for fixing the transverse pipes, fixing holes are formed in the ends ofthe transverse pipes, fixing blocks inserted into the fixing holes are arranged in the matching grooves, limiting pieces are arranged in the mounting grooves, and the limiting pieces are used for limiting the transverse pipes from moving in the mounting grooves. The scaffold structure has the effect that the situation of position deviation of the transverse pipes in the mounting process is reduced.
