The invention belongs to the technical field of building greening, and particularly relates to outer wall decoration of a greening energy-saving building. The outer wall decoration comprises flow guide mechanisms and potted plant units, and the flow guide mechanisms are connected onto a downcomer mounted on the wall surface of the building. Irrigation of the potted plant units designed by the outer wall decoration is realized by collecting rainwater falling onto a roof of the building in rainy days, and then the water is stored for automatic irrigation, so that the water resource is saved; andmeanwhile, pipelines for connecting the downcomer and water tanks are hidden at the inner sides of potted plants, and therefore attractiveness of a building wall is unaffected. According to the outerwall decoration, flowerpots and the water tanks are matched in a one-to-one manner, installation is convenient, when the water tanks or the flowerpots need to be maintained, only the flowerpots or the water tanks need to be simply taken out, the flowerpots and the water tanks are small in size and convenient to take out, and the manufacturing cost of the water tanks is low; and when the water tanks need to be replaced, the broken water tanks can be directly thrown away, and time for repairing is not needed.
