The invention discloses chromium oxide and titanium oxide composite powder for plasma spraying. The chromium oxide and titanium oxide composite powder for plasma spraying comprises: 250-550 parts of high titanium slag, 950-1050 parts of chromium sesquioxide, 20-40 parts of a liquid lubricant, 15-35 parts of a coating industrial defoamer, 10-15 parts of a diethyl ether solvent, 3-8 parts of hydroxycellulose, 5-12 parts of ethyl cellulose and 10-15 parts of Arabic gum; wherein the chromium oxide and titanium oxide composite powder is specifically divided into Cr2O3/25%TiO2-CrOx-TiOx composite powder, Cr2O3/40% TiO2-CrOx-TiOx composite powder and Cr2O3/55%TiO2-CrOx-TiOx composite powder by different contents of TiO2. The chromium oxide and titanium oxide composite powder is prepared from thehigh titanium slag instead of titanium dioxide through crushing, mixing, sintering and ball milling; the preparation process is simple, the composite coating prepared from the chromium oxide and titanium oxide composite powder has the characteristics of good weather resistance, high bonding strength, compact coating and the like, and therefore, the production cost is remarkably reduced by replacing titanium dioxide with the high titanium slag.
