The invention discloses a fire hydrant protection device. The fire hydrant protection device comprises a body, connecting columns are fixedly connected to the tops of the two sides of the body, a connecting plate is fixedly connected to the bottom of the front side of the body, an anti-collision door is fixedly connected to the front side of the connecting plate, a connecting rod is fixedly connected to the top of the rear side of the anti-collision door, connecting grooves used in cooperation with the connecting rod are formed in the connecting columns, and movable mechanisms are movably connected into the connecting columns. The fire hydrant protection device aims at solving the problems that a hydrant body is easily damaged after being mounted, a bolt connection node easily gets rusty under the corrosion and oxidation action of harmful substances such as rainwater when a pipeline connection part at the top of a fire hydrant is placed outdoors for a long time, in addition, due to thefact that the top of the fire hydrant is relatively sharp, under the condition of no protection, unnecessary harm is easily caused to pedestrians who accidentally touch the fire hydrant, and consequently potential safety hazards of the fire hydrant are increased.
