The displacement amplification type self-resetting damper comprises an upper plunger structure, a self-resetting energy consumption device, a lower plunger structure, a displacement amplification device, an overload protection device, a first erecting plate, a second erecting plateand a bottom plate, wherein the lower plunger structure is located below the upper plunger structure, the displacement amplification device is located between the upper plunger structure and the lower plunger structure and is in tooth connection with the upper plunger structure and the lower plunger structure, the overload protection device is arranged at the left end of the lower plunger structure, the bottoms of the first erecting plate and the second erecting plate are fixedly supported on the bottom plate, the first erecting plate is provided with a first circular hole and a first slottedhole, and the second erecting plate is provided with a second circular hole and a second slotted hole.
