The invention provides a displacement amplification type self-resetting friction damper which comprises an inner fixed plate, an inner acting plate and a rotating friction plate connected with the inner fixed plate and the inner acting plate, wherein the inner fixed plate and the inner acting plate are arranged at an interval; a self-resetting mechanism connected with the rotating friction plate is arranged on the inner fixing plate and comprises an extrusion assembly and an elastic piece which are matched with each other. The rotating friction plate can deflect around the self-reset mechanism so that the extrusion assembly can extrude the elastic piece to generate reset driving force. A displacement amplification function between the friction plates is realized by utilizing the lever principle, so that the energy consumption effect of the damper is improved; the extrusion assembly in the self-reset mechanism extrudes the elastic piece to generate reset driving force, so that self-reset of the damper is achieved.
