The invention discloses a magnetic damping hinge for a refrigerator. The magnetic damping hinge comprises a hinge head and a hinge seat. A hinge shaft and a movable shaft are hinged to the hinge head;the two ends of the hinge shaft are hinged to the hinge seat, and an arc-shaped channel is formed in the hinge seat; a supporting seat is arranged on the lower part of the hinge seat, and a supporting plate is movably inserted into the middle part of the supporting seat; a spring lower pad is arranged at the top of the supporting seat, a spring upper pad is arranged on the middle-upper part of the supporting plate, and a hinge spring sleeves the supporting plate between the spring upper pad and the spring lower pad; a fixed strong magnet is arranged at the bottom of the hinge seat, and a movable strong magnet is slidably arranged on the hinge seat on the upper part of the fixed strong magnet; the bottom end of the movable strong magnet and the top end of the fixed strong magnet are repellent homopoles; and the bottom end of the supporting plate abuts against the top end of the movable strong magnetic magnet. In the downward moving process of the door closing supporting plate, the lower end of the supporting plate pushes the movable strong magnet to move downwards, the homopolar repulsive force of the magnet becomes larger and larger, the closing speed of a door body is decreased,so that the damping effect is achieved, and the door body is prevented from falling rapidly.
