The invention provides a steel pipe column for an underground space structure and a construction method. The steel pipe column is formed by connecting a plurality of steel pipes through flanges, and asteel pipe column bearing platform is arranged in the middle of the steel pipe column and used for installing a plurality of perpendicularity adjusting devices which are horizontally arranged along the circumference; the bottom of the steel pipe column is connected with a reinforcement cage in a sleeved mode, and the reinforcement cage is located on the periphery of the steel pipe column; the bottom of the steel pipe column is connected with the reinforcement cage through an adjustable connecting structure; and a plurality of anti-shearing studs which are arranged in a circumferential array are arranged on the position, close to the bottom, of the steel pipe column. By adopting the scheme of combining the steel pipe column and the reinforcement cage, the overall hoisting weight of the steel pipe column is reduced, and the construction cost is reduced. The steel pipe column and the reinforcement cage are connected through the adjustable connecting structure, so that the steel pipe column and the reinforcement cage can be automatically adjusted and centered, the perpendicularity of the steel pipe column can be conveniently adjusted, and the construction efficiency is improved. The shear-resistant studs are arranged at the bottom of the steel pipe column, so that the binding force between the steel pipe column and post-cast concrete can be reinforced.
