The invention relates to a self-resetting self-balancing inerter based on rhombic transmission. The self-resetting self-balancing inerter comprises a screw rod, two groups of energy consumption assemblies, transmission assemblies and a resetting assembly, the transmission assemblies are rhombic transmission assemblies and are connected with the energy consumption assemblies and the resetting assembly correspondingly, threads at the two ends of the screw rod are sleeved with the two groups of energy consumption assemblies correspondingly, and the energy consumption assemblies can rotate aroundthe screw rod in the opposite direction; and the resetting assembly comprises springs, the springs are connected with the transmission assemblies and the screw rod correspondingly, and the screw rod is provided with threads in the same direction. Compared with the prior art, the self-resetting self-balancing inerter has the advantages of being good in integrity, capable of achieving self-balancingand resetting, capable of avoiding resonance and the like.
