The invention discloses a self-adaptive inerter friction self-resetting swing wall which comprises an inerter friction damping device, a connecting conversion plate, a pin shaft, a steel bar, a conical cylinder, a swing wall body, a prestressed tendon and an anchoring beam. The inerter friction damping device comprises an end plate, a sleeve, a transmission shaft, a nut, a ball screw, a pre-pressing spring, a cover plate, a fixing plate, a friction plate, a bearing and a high-strength bolt. Under the earthquake action, the swinging wall body swings to drive the connecting conversion plate to generate swinging displacement, the displacement is transmitted to the end plate through the pin shaft, and then the inerter friction damping device rotates along with the hinges at the two ends of the inerter friction damping device to form a two-force-rod structure; the end plate drives the transmission shaft and the nut to generate tension and compression displacement, the tension and compression displacement is converted into rotation displacement of the ball screw through the ball, the friction plate welded to the ball screw is driven to rotate, and therefore inertia energy absorption of the friction plate can be achieved. The invention has the advantages of strong energy-dissipating capacity, self-adaptive swing, excellent self-resetting performance, simple construction process, detachability and replacement and the like.
