The invention discloses a building facade externally-hung wallboard and a mounting method thereof, and relates to the technical field of buildings. The building facade externally-hung wallboard comprises a board body and fixing pieces, wherein a positioning groove is formed in the back face of the board body; a fixing frame is fixedly mounted in the positioning groove through the fixing pieces andmounted on a steel beam; and each fixing piece comprises an outer fixing rod and an inner fixing rod, wherein the inner fixing rod is in threaded connection into the outer fixing rod, and the outer fixing rod comprises a first hexagonal block. According to the building facade externally-hung wallboard and the mounting method thereof, during mounting, the fixing pieces can be effectively preventedfrom being disengaged from the board body, and the stability after mounting is improved; and sealing strips can be mounted in filling grooves formed in the board body to seal the connecting positionsof the adjacent board bodies, rainwater and the like can be effectively prevented from entering the building facade externally-hung wallboard through the connecting positions, the waterproof effect is achieved, the service life of the board body after mounting is prolonged, and the heat insulation and heat preservation effects can be achieved; and a user can dismount bolts for fixing an operationframe, the operation frame is dismounted, and thus the board body can be kept flat.
