The invention relates to the field of building materials, and particularly discloses quick-setting early-strength mortar and a preparation method thereof, and the quick-setting early-strength mortar is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 350-420 parts of cement, 800-900 parts of sand, 10-20 parts of fly ash, 12-22 parts of composite fiber, 8-15 parts of coagulant, 8-15 parts of air entraining agent, 8-16 parts of water reducing agent and 160-220 parts of water. The cement is composed of magnesite cement and sulphoaluminate cement in a weight ratio of 2: 1; the composite fiber is composed of basalt fiber and modified bamboo charcoal fiber in a weight ratio of 3: 2; the preparation method comprises the following steps: weighing cement, sand, fly ash and water, and stirring to obtain a mixture; adding composite fibers and a water reducing agent, and stirring to obtain a mixture; adding an air entraining agent and a coagulant, and stirring to obtain quick-setting early-strength mortar. The method has the advantages of improving the early strength of mortar and shortening the mortar setting time.
